Please use the submission form below if you have an inquiry regarding lincrusta. My team and I restore damaged lincrusta and install new lincrusta.

When I joined the Artistic License Guild as an associate member (link to my page), I had the privilege of learning about lincrusta from longtime member Phil Diers, who has since ceased doing lincrusta work.

But what even is lincrusta? Lincrusta is a deeply embossed wallcovering which is common in Victorian interior decoration; as such, lincrusta can be found in many properties throughout the Bay Area. It’s a unique and charming feature, and it’s certainly worth preserving as an architectural finish. Whether you have lincrusta that’s been damaged or you want to install brand-new lincrusta, you’ve come to the right (and possibly only) place! As far as I know, before I came on the scene, Phil was the only game in town. Don’t take your builders’ word for it when they assure you they can replace or repair your lincrusta. Lincrusta is a highly unusual and antiquated material, and the average tradesperson has no idea how to deal with it properly. I recently connected with Stephen F. Sullivan III, the official North American representative of the original Lincrusta-Walton company, and I’m now in the process of rebuilding the previously severed link between the Bay Area and lincrusta’s mother company!
